The Trenton Bulldogs hosted the Princeton Tigers in boys golf competition on Monday afternoon, with a total of nine golfers on the Riverside Country Club course. Trenton had five varsity players and a JV player, with Princeton bringing three varsity players.
Trenton’s Riley Gott won individual medalist honors, with a nine-hole score of 38, one stroke better than the runner-up score of 39 turned in by Kiefer Tolson of THS. Princeton’s top score was 48, turned in by Ashton Clapham.
Other scores from the day were 55 from Trenton’s Jake Schmadeke, 56 for Bo Meeker of THS, a pair of 58’s from Trenton’s Hunter Ledgerwood and Princeton’s Levi Willett, with John Schreffler of the Tigers shooting 60. Logan Roberts, representing the THS junior varsity, shot 61. Riverside Country Club is a nine-hole, par 34 course.
The South Harrison Bulldogs won a four-team golf battle at Lawson on Monday afternoon, with the Bulldogs shooting 182, Lawson 188, East Buchanan 195, and Lathrop 260.
For SHHS, Quinn Taylor shot 41, Caden Littrell 44, Sutter Akins 47, and Cooper Johnson 50.
