Chillicothe Chamber of Commerce reports events are scheduled this Friday (July 8th) at the Green Hills Golf Course.
One of them is called “the golf ball drop” and is sponsored by Chillicothe Family Pharmacy. This event at 6 o’clock in the evening and held in conjunction with the Chillicothe Chamber’s golf tournament party Friday.
The golf tournament is a three person scramble style event. Volunteers help run the tournament through assignments like golf registration and monitoring special contests.
Organizers report a golf ball can be purchased for five dollars, or get three for ten dollars. Each ball has a unique number. They will be simultaneously dropped. The first to fall into a hole, or land the closest to the hole, will win 50 percent of all funds raised from the event. The golf ball drop chances will be sold through Friday, July 8th. Participants do not have to be present to win.
