The Gilman City Ladyhawks have been showing good improvement within the program as the calendar has flipped from September to October, giving rival Tri-County a good battle, and despite a loss, playing the Lady Mustangs the toughest yet in the three games between the two squads this season. Into the mix was a solid win for Gilman City, in a home battle against HDC rival Winston.
However, Gilman City, in district play, has a #4 seed, and a meeting with the top seeded North Harrison Lady Shamrocks, a daunting loss regardless of location made even more challenging by having to play the game in Eagleville.
