The Gilman City girls and boys each played two games at 2016 North Central Missouri College Holiday Hoops, with the Gilman City Ladyhawks beating Keytesville, but falling to the Hale Cardinals, while the Gilman City boys lost a pair of three-point games to Keytesville and Hale.
The Hawk teams opened 2017 with a pair of home games on Tuesday, January 3rd against the Green City Gophers. After a week off, Gilman City returns to HDC Conference play on Tuesday, January 10th, playing a doubleheader in Jamesport against the Tri-County Mustangs.
