The Gilman City and Tri-County coaches shows aired the afternoon of January 12th on KTTN FM 92.3. Last week began on Tuesday night with the HDC rivals meeting one another in doubleheader action, with the Mustangs taking both ends of the Tuesday night games in Jamesport. The Tri-County teams, on Thursday night, split a doubleheader at Tina-Avalon, with the Lady Mustangs struggling against a strong T-A squad, while the boys ran their winning streak to four games in a row with a low-scoring road win.
The Tri-County girls and boys will be in the South Harrison Tournament in Bethany this week.

The Gilman City girls and boys had a busy week last week, but this week is much less for the Hawks, with the girls off until a game at Union Star on Tuesday, January 19th, while the boys travel to Breckenridge on Friday night. Last week, following losses in Jamesport, Gilman City split a Thursday doubleheader (girls lost, boys won) against North Harrison, before struggles hit on Friday, with a doubleheader sweep at the hands of the visiting Green City Gophers.
