The South Harrison Bulldogs have consistently been a threat to win the Grand River Conference football championship, and those expectations remain in 2016, even with the addition of Trenton, Milan, and Putnam County to a daunting Bulldog schedule.  South Harrison returns second-year coach Mike Wilhelm to lead the squad, and will host a three-team jamboree (Maysville and Trenton) on Friday night, August 12th.

Coach Wilhelm expects year #2 at Bethany to be a smoother ride, given the experiences of his rookie season in getting know his team and the opponents in the GRC landscape:

South Harrison has a challenging non-conference slate, playing at East Buchanan on August 19th before hosting Lathrop a week later.  GRC highlights for the Bulldogs include the opener in Bethany against Polo on September 2nd, a home date with the Trenton Bulldogs on September 23rd, the first ever conference test against Milan, playing at the Pit on September 30th, and the regular season finale at Putnam County on October 14th.
