The Georgia Bulldogs have flipped the verbal commitment of offensive lineman Jared Wilson from his home-state North Carolina Tar Heels, bringing back the 325 pound senior into the fold in the Class of 2021. Wilson, ranked the #24 overall recruit in the state of North Carolina, originally was committed to UGA, then flipped to UNC, before another change of plans. The Bulldogs now have 11 players in their ’21 group, ranking #15 in the country and #5 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
The lineman announced his decision on Monday night, taking to Twitter to announce his collegiate destination:
