Trenton High School’s Werthen Gass shot a nine-hole round of 46 to claim medalist honors on Monday afternoon, as the Lady Bulldogs hosted Putnam County in a head-to-head golf duel at Riverside Country Club.
Trenton shot a team score of 235, with Putnam County’s score of 230 giving the team victory, by five strokes, to the Lady Midgets. Neighbors shot 53 to lead Putnam County, with Gardner at 57, Caley 58, Parker 62, and Capps 64. For Trenton, Maci Henson and Grace Holcomb both shot 62, with Oakley Madden at 65.
THS will next be in action on Thursday, traveling to Chillicothe to play in the Chillicothe Tournament, starting at 9 o’clock in the morning at the Green Hills Golf Course.
