Gallatin High School’s girls golf team hosted the Gallatin Quadrangular Meet on Thursday afternoon at the Daviess County Country Club, with the Lady Bulldogs team score of 220 good for first place, followed by runner-up Lawson’s 226, third place Trenton’s 251, and fourth place Lawson JV, with a total of 274. Penney, with three golfers in the tournament, shot 287, and the Gallatin JV 290.
Gallatin’s Courtney Crose had a nine-hole score of 5-over par 45 for medalist honors, with Lawson’s Haley Bennett in second place at 51, and Trenton’s Reece Weldon third place at 53. In a fourth place tie at 57 were Elle Copple of Gallatin, Aubrey Cox of Lawson, and Myah Stamper of Lawson.
