Gallatin Bulldogs win 2018 GRC boy’s golf championship

The Gallatin Bulldogs, with a team score of 344, won the Grand River Conference Tournament, played on Monday at the Mozingo Lake Golf Course in Maryville.  Gallatin’s Logan Burns beat teammate Jett Simmons by one stroke (82 to 83) to win the individual title, with Zach Maggart of St. Joseph Christian and Lathan Croy of Trenton tying for third place at 86.  In a three-way tie for fifth place were Austin Lasher and Cole Taylor of South Harrison, along with Colin Beck of Gallatin.

In second place behind Gallatin’s winning total of 344 was South Harrison at 367, with Stanberry in third place at 400.
