Furrell, Dunwoodie, Starmer, Asher and Moore race to wins at US 36

Here is the recap from the Friday night races at US 36 Raceway at Osborn.

  1. MCA Mod Lites:
  • Tyler Furrell #34 and James Beebe #03 led the race from the start.
  • Dillon Raffurty #46 made his way to the front and challenged the leaders.
  • Tyler Furrell managed to hold off all challengers and secured his first-ever feature win.
  • Dillon Raffurty finished in a close second place.
  • James Beebe took a solid third place, followed by Michael Raffurty #41 in fourth.
  • Justin Raffurty, the other heat race winner, finished fifth.
  1. E-Modified:
  • Adam Dunwoodie #33D and Coleman Browning #21K battled for the lead throughout the race.
  • Jared Hillyard #3 also challenged for the top positions.
  • Adam Dunwoodie maintained his lead and claimed his first win of the season.
  • Coleman Browning finished second, and Jared Hillyard secured third place.
  • George Burnett #23 made significant progress and finished fourth, with Kevin Rash #07R in fifth.
  • Another heat race winner, Doug Brisbin #86, was in contention throughout the feature.
  1. Pure Stocks:
  • Tyler Starmer #11S, Ava Dixon #3A, and Jake Starmer #11J engaged in intense racing.
  • Tyler Starmer initially took the lead, but later suffered an engine failure.
  • Jake Starmer and Ava Dixon continued to battle for the top spot.
  • Jake Starmer ultimately emerged victorious, reclaiming the lead from Dixon.
  • Jeffrey Sears #13J secured a solid third place finish.
  • Trevor Hittle #31M and Corey Myers #16L had a close battle for fourth and fifth, respectively.
  1. USRA B-Mod:
  • Truman Asher #73 took the lead with Henry Chambers #17 in pursuit.
  • Tyler Cadwallader #69ER made an impressive charge from the back of the field.
  • Jace Boney #92 also joined the battle for the top positions.
  • Truman Asher held on to secure the victory, with Henry Chambers finishing second.
  • Tyler Cadwallader’s strong performance earned him a third-place finish.
  • Jace Boney took fourth, and heat race winner Kyle Russell #15 rounded out the top five.
  1. Sport Compact:
  • Samuel Moore celebrated his first-ever feature win after only his second race in the Sport Compact division.
  • Chris Lewis #81 initially led the race but encountered mechanical issues.
  • Jason Teel #7, another heat race winner, also faced mechanical problems.
  • Samuel Moore took the lead and maintained it until the end.
  • Eddy Noll #15, a twelve-year-old Rookie of the Year contender, challenged Moore but settled for second place.
  • Landon Brown #66A, another Rookie of the Year contender, finished third.
  • Jeremy Sims #5J, who had led at one point, encountered issues and finished fourth.
  • Chris Lewis crossed the line in fifth place.
