The Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri, on Thursday afternoon, announced the creation of a special fund to honor Howie Lynch of Trenton, who passed away in July after a battle with cancer. Lynch was a long-time coach, player, and supporter of sports programs in the Trenton community and involving Trenton High School, wishes that included a new and permanent concession stand at the Ebbe Sports Complex, the softball facility on the south side of the Trenton High School/Middle School grounds.
At the request of Lynch’s family, monies received from the fund will go directly towards creating a new concession stand area, adding to the memorial contributions designated for the Ebbe Sports Complex at the time of Howie’s death.
