Jontay Porter, a former Missouri center, contributed eight points and one rebound off the bench for the Chicago Bulls in a 107-99 victory over the Sacramento Kings in an NBA 2K24 Summer League game in Las Vegas. He played for 12 minutes and 27 seconds, making two three-pointers and going 0-for-2 from the free-throw line.

Javon Freeman-Liberty led all scorers with 28 points for the Bulls, while Jordan Ford scored 25 points for the Kings.

On Wednesday, three other former Missouri players, Kobe Brown, Mark Smith, and D’Moi Hodge, will be in action for their respective teams in Las Vegas. Brown and the Los Angeles Clippers will face the Memphis Grizzlies, Smith and the Denver Nuggets will play against the Utah Jazz, and Hodge and the Los Angeles Lakers will take on the Boston Celtics.

In a previous game, Kobe Brown started for the Los Angeles Clippers and contributed 12 points, eight rebounds, two steals, an assist, and a block. The Clippers won 80-70 against the Sacramento Kings in that game. Jordan Bowden also had a strong performance off the bench with 18 points, helping the Clippers secure the victory.

Former Missouri guard Dru Smith played for the Miami Heat in a 73-70 loss to the Phoenix Suns. Smith scored seven points and had four assists, along with a block and a steal during the game. Kansas State graduate Barry Brown Jr. led the Suns in scoring with 14 points, while Jamal Cain of Miami led all scorers with 18 points.
