Former Missouri Tiger Ziggy Hood is longer playing in the National Football League, but has moved on to a coaching career. Hood, a defensive lineman for coach Gary Pinkel in the late 2000’s, is on the staff of the Washington Football Team, staying with the franchise he last played with from 2016-2018.
Hood was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft, and spent nearly a decade in the league, with stints in Jacksonville, Chicago, Miami, New Orleans, and Washington after his time in the Steel City.
