An incident from November 13, 2018 has resulted in the weekend arrest of former University of Missouri men’s basketball player D’Angelo Allen, who is facing charges that include first-degree robbery and burglary, second-degree assault, armed criminal action, and unlawful use of weapons.  The Columbia Missourian, noting a probable cause statement, first reported the allegations.

Bail for Allen has been set for $100,000, with his initial court appearance set for Thursday, September 9th in Boone County Court.

According to the probable cause statement, the victim in the case woke up to Allen “holding a gun to her face”, which was used to strike the victim in the head up to seven times.

Former Missouri football player Keyon Dilosa was the second individual mentioned in the statement.  Dilosa is accused of stealing approximately $2,500 from the woman’s dresser.

This is not Allen’s first run-in with the law, as he was arrested in his freshman year at Mizzou in 2014 on suspicion of misdemeanor third-degree assault, resulting in a suspension from the MU program by then-head coach Kim Anderson.
