The Denver Broncos, on Monday afternoon, waived former University of Missouri running back Damarea Crockett. In Crockett’s last significant chance to play on the NFL level, he appeared in 12 games with Denver in 2021, gaining seven yards on three carries, seeing mostly special teams opportunities.
In his Missouri career from 2016-2018, Crockett had 2,178 yards and 19 touchdowns. He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent by the Houston Texans. He also has had time with the Raiders and Packers organizations.
