The Green Hills Recreation Association is organizing flag football for boys and girls entering kindergarten through 4th grade in the upcoming school year. Divisions will be created based upon age and the number of teams. Games will be played on Saturday’s during the months of September and October.
The entry fee is $50.00, which includes a jersey, flag belt and flags, a mouth guard, a player insurance. Checks should be made payable to Green Hills Recreation Association and accompany the registration form.
The form can be printed from the GHRA website. They are also available at the American Family Insurance office and the Grundy County Health Department, both in Trenton.
Forms are due by Friday, August 5th at the same locations, or by mailing the form to Green Hills Recreation Association, Post Office Box 202 in Trenton.
Coaches are needed for each team, so people are asked to consider the possibility of coaching their child’s squad.
The league will be associated with NFL Flag, powered by USA Football. It is the largest flag football organization in the United States, and the only organization granted permission by the NFL to use its official logos.
