The Trenton Lady Bulldogs will be put of the nine-school Class 1, District 8 girls tennis tournament this (Monday) afternoon at Noyes Courts in St. Joseph, with the #5 seed Lady Bulldogs playing #4 seed Maryville at 4 o’clock.
The tournament will get underway with a battle between #8 Cameron and #9 Richmond at 3 o’clock, with the top-seeded Savannah Lady Savages playing the winner at 5 o’clock.
Quarterfinal matchups on the bottom half of the bracket will be #2 seed Excelsior Springs against St. Joseph Lafayette at 4 o’clock, with the third-seeded Chillicothe Lady Hornets taking on MEC rival St. Joseph Benton at 4 o’clock.
Quarterfinal winners will advance to Tuesday afternoon’s 4 o’clock semifinals back in St. Joseph, with the Class 1, District 8 championship match set for Wednesday afternoon, October 16th at 4 o’clock.
