Fall leads LAFC to shutout of Sporting, handing KC season’s lost lopsided loss

Mamadou Fall put in two goals for the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) on Friday night, as the home team throttled Sporting Kansas City, 4-0.

The stunning result snapped the club-record eight-game winless streak for LAFC (7-9-6), while handing Sporting (11-5-7) its second outright loss in the past 13 games.

Fall scored in both the 19th and 61st minute for Los Angeles, with Cristian Arango scoring in the 71st, and Eduard Atuesta scoring on a penalty kick in the 87th.
