The East Buchanan Lady Bulldogs protected their home court on Tuesday night, sweeping the visiting Trenton Lady Bulldogs by a final score of 25-12, 25-13, 25-7.
For THS, Ava Simpson had 11 assists, with Katie Markell adding eight digs, Makenzee Epperson five kills, and Ally Yoder four kills and two aces.
The East Buchanan JV won 25-12, 25-3.
On the Riverside Country Club course in Trenton on Tuesday afternoon, the Lady Bulldogs hosted South Harrison and Maysville in a Grand River Conference triangular. Maysville had the top team score at 203, and led by Ally McManus with a medalist-earning score of 44, the Lady Wolverines boasted the top four scores on the course.

Tess Sheerman of Marceline won the Lewis and Clark Conference’s individual golf championship in Moberly on Tuesday, shooting 78, a full 18 strokes better than the runner-up total of 96 by Salisbury’s Gwen Wilkey.
Salisbury won the team championship at the Heritage Hills course with a score of 414, with Marceline second at 446, followed by Harrisburg’s 457 and Westran’s 525.
