Four members of the Princeton Lady Tigers softball team are first-team all-district performers, with the Class 1, District 15 team announced last week. North Harrison, in the District 15 tournament on their home field, won the district title on Saturday, October 8th.
Princeton lost in the semifinal round to North Harrison, after a first-round victory over Mercer. Â Lady Tigers earning first-team honors are pitcher Haley Johnson, catcher Vivian Allen, infielder Lindsey Batson, and outfielder Lacie Lewis.
North Harrison players named first team are pitcher Payton Craig, catcher Brandy Rivet, infielders Kiley Gibson and Mason Cracraft, outfielder Audry Briggs, and utility player Alyssa Craig.
The team is filled out with the additions of Worth County pitcher Haley Hunt, Mercer infielder Nicole Kost, Worth County infielder Sydney Troutwine, and Albany outfielder Maryeah Martin.
Named second team all-district are Albany pitcher Madalyn Rainey, Worth County catcher Payton Adwell, East Harrison catcher Kayla Thompson, Mercer infielder Lindsay Wyatt, East Harrison infielders Klarissa Roberts and Sarah Fitzpatrick, Albany infielder Riley Houts, Worth County outfielder Anna Gladstone, and Albany utility player Amber Davis.
