Trenton’s Lucas Clark scored on three separate touchdown runs by Lucas Clark, including two in the second quarter, in a 28-0 victory over Putnam County on Monday night.
Clark scored from eight yards out with 5:24 left in the second quarter, and added the two-point conversion for an 8-0 lead for the Bulldog JV. A 31 yard run 3 1/2 minutes later by Clark upped the score to 14-0 at halftime, as the two-point try failed.
Trenton’s defense extended the lead in the third quarter, as Carson Radcliff took a Midget fumble 31 yards for a touchdown with 5:13 remaining in the third. Isaac Harris’ run on the two point try upped the lead to 22-0.
THS closed out the scoring on a 34 yard run by Clark with 1:08 to go in the contest. The two-point conversion failed, leaving the final score Bulldogs 28, Midgets 0.
Trenton’s next JV game will be at Princeton, on Monday, September 12th at 6 o’clock.
