The Kansas City Chiefs have finalized a contract agreement for the 2022 season with veteran defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi, with the agreement announced by Nnadi’s representatives at SportsTrust Advisors.
A third-round selection out of Florida State in 2018, Nnadi has become a productive member of a Chiefs squad that has made four consecutive AFC championship games and won Super Bowl 54 over San Francisco in February 2020.
The restructuring of Frank Clark’s contract at defensive end gave the Chiefs front office the wiggle room under the salary cap to come to terms with Nnadi for another season at Arrowhead.
