The Kansas City Chiefs have signed four players to the team’s active roster, placed two on season-ending injured reserve, waived defensive lineman Nick Williams, and officially announced the trade of running back Knile Davis to the Green Bay Packers.
Signed from the Chiefs practice squad onto the active roster were cornerback Terrance Mitchell (Oregon), defensive lineman Rakeem Nunez-Roches (Southern Mississippi), and linebacker Ramik Wilson (Georgia). Â Kansas City also signed defensive end Kendall Reyes, from the University of Connecticut.
Placed on injured reserve were defensive end Allen Bailey (Miami, FL) and linebacker Justin March-Lillard (Akron). Â
The trade of Knile Davis to the running-back starved Packers ends the time in Kansas City for the former Arkansas Razorback who had his best moments in KC on kickoff returns, but struggled with the fumble bug. Â Nick Williams, waived by the Chiefs, is a 309 pound defensive lineman from Samford University.
