The Trenton Bulldogs scored six times in the top of the first inning and after a brief stumble in the bottom half of the frame, dominated for the rest of the contest in winning 14-4 at North Harrison High School.
With a 6-0 lead after 1/2 inning, Trenton starter Elijah Miller struggled, allowing four base hits and three runs (two earned), as the Bulldog lead shrunk to 6-3. However, Aiden Weyer was strong out of the bullpen, scattering one hit and four walks in three innings of work. Brandon Burgess tossed the final inning, allowing one hit and one run.
Mason Rongey, Miller, and Logan Wilson had three runs scored for THS, with Wilson adding four RBI’s, while Collin Taylor and Miller had three RBI’s each. Hamilton and Richardson had home runs for the Shamrocks. North Harrison committed five errors to Trenton’s three.
