The Trenton tennis team routed Cameron on Wednesday evening, winning by decisive fashion, 9-0, to complete an 11-0 regular season. Three singles entries and all three doubles matches ended in 8-love fashion in favor of Trenton, while Gabe Swann won by a score of 8-1, Weston Otto 8-1, and Isaac Harris 8-2.
The Bulldogs, after the Senior Night sweep, will have the #1 seed and homecourt advantage for next week’s team district tournament, finishing the regular season on Friday at the Benton Tournament in St. Joseph.
In JV action on Wednesday, Trenton won three doubles matches, with Jonin Villacampa and Riley Raymo combining for a 6-3 win, while Sabastian Brown and Cole Soptic won 6-2, and Riley Walker teamed with Villacampa for a 6-0 love shutout.
