The Trenton Lady Bulldogs and Chillicothe Lady Hornets advanced to the district final against one another with semifinal team wins on Tuesday afternoon, as THS beat Richmond 5-2, while the top-seeded Lady Hornets shutout Excelsior Springs. The district final was to be played on Wednesday afternoon, but due to rain, was postponed until Friday afternoon.
