With the University of Illinois serving as the “home team” for December’s annual rivalry matchup between the Missouri Tigers and the Fighting Illini, the Big Ten Network will cover the game, with a tip time of 8 o’clock.

As per usual, the game will be played at the Enterprise Center in downtown St. Louis on Wednesday, December 22nd, with pregame at 7:30 on KTTN FM 92.3.

With COVID-19 keeping crowds at zero last year, the game site between MU and Illinois was decided via a coin flip, with Missouri winning the flip, hosting the game, and upsetting the nationally-ranked Illini, 81-78.  It was the first time the teams had played outside of St. Louis since December 4, 1979.

Missouri has won three consecutive games against an Illinois program that won the Big Ten regular season championship in 2020-2021.  Illinois leads the all-time series 32-19.
