The St. Louis Blues have announced their preseason schedule for the 2021-2022 season, with a slate of games that includes a meeting with bitter rival Chicago at Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence.  The game will be played on Saturday, October 2nd.

The appearance at Cable Dahmer Arena, the home of the ECHL’s Kansas City Mavericks, represents a change of past thinking for preseason games in Kansas City, with past such events played downtown at T-Mobile Arena, often mentioned as a potential home if the city were to receive a franchise in the NHL, either by expansion or relocation.

St. Louis will play eight preseason games, with three to be played on the Blues home ice at Enterprise Center in St. Louis, with the first on September 25th against the Central Division rival Minnesota Wild.
