The University of Missouri women’s basketball program has received good news as the 2020-2021 season approaches, as sophomore guard Lauren Hansen has been eligible to play for the Tigers, after her transfer from Auburn last season.
Hansen, a native of Long Island, New York, became a three-point shooting specialist at Auburn last season, connecting on 33.3 percent of her shots from distances, averaging 7.9 points per game. Coming out of Ward Melville High School in 2019, Hansen was ranked by ESPNW HoopGurlz as the #71 prospect in the U.S. and the #20 guard.
The Missouri women open the 2020-2021 season hosting North Alabama on Friday night, November 27th at Mizzou Arena in Columbia.
