The Kansas City Chiefs, who need to have their roster numbers down to 75 by 3 PM on Tuesday, have announced the release of eight players, including former NFL starters Drew Nowak and Jonathan Massaquoi.
Nowak, an offensive lineman, and Massaquoi, a linebacker, and joined on the “cut line” by cornerback Bryce Cheek, defensive lineman Niko Davis, offensive tackle Curtis Feigt, cornerback Malcolm Jackson, and wide receivers Seantavius Jones and Kashif Moore.
The Chiefs currently have 81 players on their roster. They are required to be down to 53 by Opening Day (September 11th vs. San Diego).
