Two Trenton High School wrestlers, Jadan Whitney and Mason Owen, placed second in the A Pool of the Brookfield Tournament on Saturday. Two other Trenton wrestlers, Eric Lovett and Noah Lewis, were second in the B Pool.
Whitney and Owen each had two wins and one loss, Whitney at 195 pounds and Owen at 220. Each person lost by two points. Lewis was 4-1 at 152 pounds and Lovett was 2-1 at 145 pounds, both in the B Pool.
Trenton’s wrestlers have a head-to-head duel with the Chillicothe Hornets on Tuesday evening at Chillicothe High School, starting at 6 o’clock. Trenton will be in the Stanberry quadrangular on Thursday evening, and in the Grand River Conference tournament on Saturday.
