North Central Missouri College sophomore Ryan Ward hit seven three-point shots, part of a 21 point night that led the Pirates to a 76-55 road win at the Park University junior varsity on Saturday night in Parkville, MO.
NCMC led by only 31-27 at the half, before extending the advantage with a dominant final 20 minutes, racing to a 45-28 advantage. Reserve guard Jason Feliz had 10 points and 10 rebounds in a double-double effort for North Central, while Jordan Reece had nine points and Jalen Gant eight. Cody Glenn hit a pair of three-pointers for the Pirates for six points.
The Pirates return home to host Johnson County CC (Overland Park, KS) on Wednesday night. Game-time has been moved from the original starting time of 7:30 to 7 o’clock at the Ketcham Community Center. NCMC’s record is now 7-4 on the season.
