The Lady Mustangs of Tri-County started the 2018 softball season with back-to-back HDC Conference victories, knocking off Grundy R-5 and Winston, heading into a week that included a stern test against North Harrison. Unfortunately for Mustangs baseball, the season is stuck in neutral, with the combination of early-season ineligibility, and recent wet fields from September rainfall, leaving Coach Josh Lisle hopeful that the season can begin on Tuesday, September 11th with a home date against Brunswick.
