Trenton High School’s Riley Gott shot a nine-hole score of 35 to win medalist honors on Thursday afternoon at Riverside Country Club in Trenton.
The only other sub-40 score was from THS junior Kiefer Tolson, who shot 39. Other Trenton scores were 54 for Hunter Ledgerwood, 60 from Logan Roberts, and 66 for Caleb Ray.
Maysville won the meet with a team score of 182, six less than runner-up Trenton’s 188. Mercer shot 211. Maysville’s top scores were 40 from Kayden Gabbard, followed by 45’s for Mac White and Eli Gaiser, 52 from Jace Harms, and 62 from Bryson Jestes.
For the Mercer Cardinals, Kobe Hill turned in a score of 45, with Tyler Meinecke at 54, Wes Hashman 55, Lawson Twedt 57, and Mason Martin 65.
