The Trenton Kids Wrestling Club participated in the Dave Kinen Classic in Chillicothe last weekend. Trenton had 14 wrestlers finish in the first through fourth positions, including three that won first place in their age and weight class.
For the TKWC, Blake Gannon was first in the 6 and under, 45 pound class, with Kynsen Bain first in the 6 and under, 55 pound group, and Chase Foster on top in the 10 and under, 150 pound category.
Runner-up finishes went to Riley Griffin, Owen Lowe, Bryar Foster, and Caleb Dixon. In third place were Jackson Black, Jayla Bell, and Kaydan Foster, while Braylee Barron, Bentlee Tunnell, Archer Gannon, and Leon McPherson were in fourth place.
Trenton’s wrestling club also was awarded the Sportsmanship Trophy at the end of the weekend competition.
