The Trenton Lady Bulldog volleyball team cruised to a straight set victory over the South Harrison Lady Bulldogs on Thursday night in Bethany, winning by a score of 25-7, 25-6.
Karli Provorse led the THS attack with 11 kills, while the serving game dominated for the visitors, with Allena Allen, Melea Farmer, and Provorse combining for 15 aces. Farmer added five assists and three digs.
Teresa Yoder had one dig, one kill, and one block for the Lady Bulldogs, while Saedee Jackson had five digs, and Shawna Coplen five assists.
On Monday night, Trenton will host the rival Chillicothe Lady Hornets, with the freshman match starting at 5 PM, followed by JV and varsity competition. The varsity match will be broadcast on KTTN FM 92.3 and KTTN on the Tune-In Radio App (KTTNSports.com).
The Trenton Middle School volleyball teams hosted Lathrop on Thursday night, with the Mules taking a pair of victories. In the “A” game, the Mules won 25-13, 22-25, 15-13. Ava Simpson had seven aces for TMS. In the “B” game, Lathrop swept Trenton 27-25, 25-21. Sarah Washburn paced Trenton with five aces.
