The Trenton Kids Wrestling Club participated in the district tournament at Marceline this past weekend, with four boys winning 1st place hardware, and TKWC advancing to the regional tournament at Winnetonka High School next weekend.
Winning first place honors for Trenton were Chase Foster (8 and under, 100 pounds), Kaden Owen (12 and under, 130 pounds), Tyler Siemer (12 and under, 135 pounds), and Bo Meeker (12 and under, 285 pounds).
Coleman Griffin, Issac Wilson, and Caleb Johnson finished second place to earn advancement. Third place finishes went to Jackson Huber, Logan Wilson, Sam Gibson, and Jesse Huber. Hunter McAtee, Luca Nichols, and Luke Schilling were fourth, and Spencer Stieh, Mason Rongey, Brayden Hughs, and Tanner Phipps finished in fifth place.
