The Trenton High School football team celebrated its seniors and the 2018 season on Thursday night, with the annual banquet held in the THS Commons.
Head Coach Brandon Boswell said, despite the less-than-hoped for success of a 3-7 season, the Bulldogs showed good promise for future success, with junior quarterback Sam Schilling throwing for the 4th-best one-season number in program history, while junior wide-out Jaren Whitney, with 684 yards, had the 2nd-greatest one year total in program history, and enters his senior season fifth in all-time receiving yards for the Bulldogs.
Trenton had five All-GRC selections, and won on both Homecoming and Senior Night for just the third time in the past eight years.
