Trenton Boxing Club member Aryn Pajak spent the weekend in Montgomery, Alabama, with the #4 ranked boxer in the country in the “National Sugar Bert” qualifier.
The first night of competition saw Pajak receiving a bye in the 75 pound open division. The next day, Pajak picked up a win over Lorenzo Sanders of Macon, Georgia putting him into the championship bout on Sunday against South Carolina state champion Akillias Evans.
Pajak lost a tough 3 round decision in what Coach Dunkin says was a very gutsy toe to toe war. “It was a true test of character with 2 great fighters showing their skills a d hard work ethic”, said Dunkin, adding “this was possibly one of Aryn’s best fights to date”.
Pajak and Parker Findley will both be in action this Saturday (January 20th) in St. Louis. Pajak will be matched with the current ranked #1 fighter in the country in the class below him.
