The Trenton Lady Bulldogs will join the Putnam County Midgets and Brookfield Bulldogs in a three-team softball jamboree on Saturday morning, August 20th at Brookfield High School. Action begins at 9 o’clock in the morning, with three scrimmages planned, scheduled for either four innings or one hour, whichever mark is reached first. Each inning will last three outs or five runs, whichever is achieved first.
Brookfield will meet Trenton in the first scrimmage of the morning, with Putnam County and Trenton battling at 10 o’clock, while Putnam County and Brookfield finish up at 11. Admission will be free for those in attendance.
Trenton will open the regular season on Friday and Saturday, August 26th and 27th, playing in the Cameron Tournament. Brookfield opens the season on Tuesday, August 30th at Penney High of Hamilton, with Putnam County’s regular season opener at Mercer on Monday, August 29th before an early-season GRC showdown at Trenton on Tuesday, August 30th.
