The Trenton Lady Bulldog varsity volleyball team took a straight set win at Brookfield on Monday night, winning for the second match in a row, by final scores of 25-15, 25-8. Trenton won the JV matchup with the Lady ‘Dogs 25-17, 25-21. The C match was split, was Trenton winning the first set, 25-17, but falling in Set #2, 20-25.
Trenton, winners in two matches in a row, will host the East Buchanan Lady Bulldogs tonight (Tuesday night) and South Harrison on Thursday night, before heading to the four-team Carrollton Tournament on Saturday.
At Chillicothe High School on Monday night, the Lady Hornets lost a three-set match against Marshall, 23-25, 25-22, 25-17. Catey Trout had nine digs and Elli Ross 13 assists for the Lady Hornets.
