The Missouri Tigers have added a fourth verbal commitment in the Class of 2018, and the first on the defensive side of the football. On Saturday, Tyrone Collins of Braden River High School in Bradenton, Florida, via Twitter, verbally committed to Barry Odom’s program.
Rivals, 247 Sports, and Scout all rank Collins, a 5-foot-11, 170 pound senior as a three-star prospect. Other offers for Collins included Michigan, Ole Miss, Iowa State, and Kentucky.
Collins availability for his senior season at Braden River is currently in doubt, after he tore his ACL in February. Last season, as a junior, he had three interceptions and 37 tackles, while adding four touchdowns with 11 catches as a receiver.
