The Trenton Bulldogs and Chillicothe Hornets met in a head-to-head boys golf duel on Tuesday afternoon, with the visiting Bulldogs putting up a score of 177 on the Green Hills Course, meeting the Hornets total of 194.
Trenton senior Nate Swann earned medalist honors, with his nine-hole score of 41 clipping his classmate, Corbyn Guile, who shot 42. In a tie for third place individually were Trenton’s Lathan Croy and Chillicothe’s Hayden Montgomery, both at 44.
Other scores on the day were 47 for Chillicothe’s Trevor Bowling and 48 for Peyton Moritz of the Hornets. For Trenton, Luke Lewis shot 50, followed by Chillicothe’s Clayton Walker at 55, Connor Cotton of the Bulldogs at 56, and C.J. Williams of the Hornets at 59.
