The Summit Christian Academy Lady Eagles of Lee’s Summit, Missouri were honored with the 2016 High School Holiday Hoops Sportsmanship Award for girls teams over the week-end. Making the presentation to Coach Megan Kliewer and the Lady Eagles and Coaches were award sponsor Ron Dougan, team hostess during the recent Hoops event Minnie Cunningham and Hoops committee members Steve Perry, Mitch Dougan and Event Director Steve Maxey.
The Lady Eagles were selected from among 59 girls teams who participated in the 12th annual event and were presented with the award in front of a standing room only crowd at Senior Night and Courtwarming for the Summit Christian Academy on Friday night.
