The top-seeded Southwest Lady Wildcats got back into the win column on Tuesday night, winning in the quarterfinal round of the 57th annual Keytesville Tournament, 64-29 over Brunswick. The victory sends Southwest into the semifinals, and a 7 o’clock date with Prairie Home on Thursday night. Prairie Home, the #5 seed, pulled off the mild upset over Bunceton on Tuesday night, 54-37.
On the boys side from Keytesville, the Southwest Livingston Wildcats came up short against #3 seed Keytesville, falling to the hosts, 59-45. Second-seeded Prairie Home blasted Bunceton, 66-27.

The Stanberry girls and boys are safely into the King City semifinals, after a pair of dominant performances on Tuesday night. The top-seeded Lady Bulldogs throttled Maysville, 57-18, while the #3 ranked (MBCA Class 2) Stanberry boys took a 77-21 victory over DeKalb. The DeKalb girls salvaged one-half of the night for the Tigers, beating South Holt, 51-36, while the South Holt boys, in the most competitive game from Tuesday night, slipped by Maysville, 60-53.

In other final scores from Tuesday night, Palmyra swept Brookfield in the Clarence Cannon Conference, winning the girls game 64-46 and the boys contest 66-33. Green City, in the Tri-County Conference, took a pair of wins from Brashear, with the Lady Gophers victorious 75-42, followed by a 53-29 Gopher triumph. LaPlata swept Novinger, winning 56-37 in the girls and 53-48 in a tighter boys game.
The Winston Redbirds moved to 17-0 on the season, pulling away from a two-point lead over St. Joseph Christian at halftime to defeat the Lions, 63-29. Craig Lewis led the Class 1 #1 ranked team in the state with 28 points, with Griffen Harris scoring 18, and Jacob Lewis 14.
