The South Harrison Lady Bulldogs won the Class 1 state golf championship on Tuesday afternoon in Sedalia, with a team score of 403 outshooting runner-up East Atchison by 28 strokes, as the SHHS two-day score of 821 took the championship trophy back to Bethany.
East Atchison’s two-day score was the runner-up tally of 844. Northeast of Cairo was third at 858, followed by East Buchanan’s fourth place tally at 866.
Ash Grove’s Rylee Allred and Mountain View Liberty’s Kameryn Wood shared the individual state title with matching scores of 165. South Harrison’s Abby Owens shot 174, good for 4th place. Putnam County’s Abbie Koenen was 7th place at 186, with Worth County’s Bridgette Hightshoe was 199 for 15th place.

Osage won the Class 2 state championship with a two-day score of 704, 22 strokes better than runner-up Incarnate Word Academy. Maryville was 4th place at 749.
Hanna Maschhoff of Osage, with a two-day score of 153, beat Savannah Thessing of New Covenant Academy by one stroke to win the individual title.
St. Dominic won the Class 3 state title with a score of 650. Hannibal (729) was 5th. Emree Cameron of Nevada High School shot 134 to win the individual title.
The Class 4 state crown went to Visitation Academy at 638. Raymore-Peculiar was 5th, Liberty North 8th, and Park Hill South 9th. Page Bowman of Glendale shared the state title with Ali Perry of St. Joseph Central, both at 148, one stroke ahead of third-place Bailey Burkett of Liberty North.
