The Trenton Lady Bulldogs hosted Princeton on Tuesday afternoon in golf competition at Riverside Country Club, with four Lady Tigers joining Trenton’s Mari Atup on the course. Alison Allen of Princeton won medalist honors on the nine holes with a score of 60.
Trenton’s Mari Atup, still the only player on the Bulldogs active roster with the continued quarantine of junior Josie Chumbley, shot a 65 for THS, finishing in second place.
Other Princeton scores were 66 from both Jaysa Goodin and Emily Hanson, with Jadyn Purdun carding a 68.
Districts begin next week, with Atup representing Trenton at a tournament in Richmond. Monday’s scheduled golf competition for Trenton, taking on Marceline and Maysville, was cancelled.
