The Princeton Lady Tiger softball team, on the first Tuesday of September, played well, but came up short, in a spirited effort at Trenton, falling to the Lady Bulldogs 5-0. The defeat, following a 5-4 loss to South Harrison the previous Thursday night, leaves the Lady Tigers 0-2 in Grand River Conference play. Less than 24 hours after the game at THS concluded, Coach Heather Hall joined Sports Director Tom Johnson to talk about the game, and the future schedule for PHS softball.

Meanwhile, the Tiger football team won for the first time this season, blowing out North Platte on Friday, August 31st, with a road trip to Polo facing Coach Thomas Hotmer on Labor Day week.
