The Polo Lady Panthers won at Trenton High School’s Griffin Field on Thursday night by a score of 7-0, clinching the Eastern Division title of the Grand River Conference and a spot in the GRC championship game on Thursday, September 29th at North Andrew.
The Lady Bulldogs normally stout offense was held in check by Polo’s Hanna Vaught, with only three base hits for THS, off the bats of Avery Clark, Kenzie Lynch, and Mirena King. Polo, ranked #1 in the state in Class 1, remains unbeaten on the season, while dropping Trenton to 8-9.
